Brighton
The Brighton brand was launched in 1991 with a single collection of belts. Although the Brighton brand is only 15 years old, Brighton is a division of Leegin Creative Leather Products that began in 1966 by a couple named Lee and Ginny in California. Originally the company operated out of a warehouse, manufacturing belts, handbags, and sandals. In 1970 a Leegin customer, Jerry Kohl felt that he could improve the timeliness of Leegin deliveries. Working with Lee and Ginny, Jerry Kohl bought the company in 1972. Brighton now has added handbags, small leather goods, watches, jewelry, eyewear, home accessories, footwear, and fragrances to their line. Brighton now is sold in over 6,000 specialty stores.
Over the years, Brighton has grown to become an accessories company with something for everyone. It features accessories that can be coordinated from head to toe. Each piece of Brighton is a unique and original design. The company designers travel the world in search of new leathers and inspiration for their exclusive pieces.
In keeping with the Brighton philosophy, Brighton is only sold in stores that offer excellent customer service and are not sold in department stores or on the internet. Yaya’s Boutique is proud to be named a Brighton Heart store. Yaya’s offers a wide selection of Brighton products and the personal attention that you deserve. If you would like to view Brighton products on line please go to www.Brighton.com, then stop by our store in Libertyville, IL, which is located in the historic downtown area.
