Karen Kane
Karen Kane always knew that she would do something in fashion. At the age 0f 10, she began her design career by creating clothing for her Barbie doll. Even then Karen Kane knew that her love of fashion would lead her to a career in fashion design.
After receiving a fashion degree Karen and her husband, Lonnie, began their business in 1979 out of their garage with a phone, a few sewing machines and a bedroom office. Karen Kane believes that clothes should have comfort, ease, luxury and longevity. She repeats these concepts with each new design collection.
Karen Kane features clothing that is geared toward women in their 20’s to 50’s and includes clothing made for all seasons. Karen Kane designs her clothing to be simple but stylish. They are polished enough for work and relaxed enough for the weekends. Karen Kane clothing are also easy to travel with and maintain. Today, Karen Kane is sold in all 50 states and has become a multi-million dollar company.
